Commandment 1
A group of believers in Jesus who are pursuing the 1st Commandment: to love Him first, above all, expecting His love and presence to be poured on us beyond our wildest imagination.
Jesus was asked, in Matthew 22:36-38 - 36: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
The most important thing, according to Jesus, is to love Him and worship Him, first, foremost and above all, therefore we will pursue knowing and doing all that includes as the Lord reveals and enables us.
As you can see from the site and some of the photos - we are not the conventional type of church, not so much by choice, but because the Lord revealed to us what was His priority for us. So, we are around all kinds of people: long hair, short hair; those who wear kilts and those who don't; those who ride bikes and those who like cars; those who have tattoos ad those who kind of wished they did... because when it comes to people Jesus is all inclusive. He wants all to come into the kingdom and experience His love, so we make ourselves available to be the same way. But above all, He is the focus and we are learning how to have a relationship with Him and worship God as He wants to be worshiped.

Commandment 1 Goals and Mission
Jesus was asked, in Matthew 22:36-38 – 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. The most important thing, according to Jesus, is to love Him and worship Him, firs, foremost and above all, therefore we will pursue knowing and doing all that includes as the Lord reveals and enables us.
Worship in the church is for the purpose of fulfilling the First and Great Commandment – to love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. We will emphasize the revelatory, prophetic aspect of worship as well as incorporating other musical, visual, dance and media arts in worship to the Lord.
Psalm 33:2 Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.
Psalm 150:5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
The next commandment is in Matt: 22:39-40 - 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Therefore we will minister with the goal of training and equipping people for ministry, according to what they are called to do. However, Biblically, all are called to minister to others with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and training and equipping is to be for all in the gifts of the Spirit.
As a church that equips, there will also be an emphasis on having interaction with society and community to minister to those who are not believers to bring freedom, deliverance, healing and direction into their lives through prophetic and revelatory gifts.
Therefore, as a church, in the future, we will be sending out teams to minister, locally, nationally and internationally as the Lord gives direction and provision to wherever the Lord sends us.
We will pursue the gifts of healing, signs, wonders and miracles because they are part of God's Great Commission and are not separate from evangelism.
The gift of receiving healing are for all, believers and unbelievers, and when it comes to receiving healing and miracles we will pursue to function and train others in a way that is void of the religious baggage and expectations many have grown up with.
We will pursue the to have, and integrate all the five-fold ministry gifts in the body and honor all the ministry gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher in the body of Christ, as the Lord gives grace to those who are called to function in those gifts. Ephesians 4:11-13 – 11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
As an equipping church, we will also be a sending church to send those who the Lord releases, to go where He sends them and to do what He instructs them.
The church is to be a unconventional body of believers, pursuing what God has called us to do, and build according to His instructions. Therefore we will not be looking to the past about how it was done – but we will FIRST look to the Lord for revelation and His grace about how He wants things done.
We recognize we may not fit into the mainstream of Christianity as we are seeking to know, and do what the Lord wants us to be today, in current society, and not be subject to old patterns, and religious traditions – what that looks like we will see by revelation, and as the Lord leads us and teaches us what we are to be.
As a body of believers we will strive to effectively encourage all who are in the process of preparation - from the revelation of what they are to become, and through the process on the way to becoming what God has called them to be.
That process is at times difficult and necessary for the Lord to shape us and mold us into those who will walk in Godly character, integrity, holiness and righteousness.
As Romans 5:3-5 states: 3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
As a Holy Spirit- filled, charismatic, pentecostal, prophetic, apostolic body of believers we make no excuses and will not apologize to anyone for the presence of the Holy Spirit, or what it looks like in services and meetings when His presence, power and gifts are present and in operation.
We will walk in love
We will walk in humility
We will walk in revelation
We will walk in discernment
We will walk in obedience to God and His Word
We will walk in integrity, holiness, and righteousness
We will walk in blessing, not cursing, gossip and slander
We will walk in Biblical hospitality toward believers and strangers
We will not be subject to financial blackmail or any kind of manipulation – we will preach, prophesy and minister what the Lord wants without the fear that people will withhold blessings and finances because they may not like the message, the prophecy or the Biblical expectation of morality, Godly character, and holiness.
We will preach, teach and practice Biblical giving and tithing without manipulating believers to give. These are Biblical commands applicable to everyone, and we will encourage all to participate obediently to the Word to correspondingly experience God's blessings as a result of obeying.
However, we cannot and will not force people who choose to do otherwise. The responsibility and consequence of obedience or disobedience are for each individual to choose.
We believe in the Biblical command to bless Israel as a nation and as a people and will pray, bless and support Israel as the Lord leads us individually, and as a body of believers. Genesis 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."To look with disfavor on the Jews was to invite God's displeasure; to treat the Jews offensively was to incur His wrath. But to befriend the Jews was to bring down upon one's head the rewards of a promise that could not be broken.”
We will keep in our hearts and prayers those who suffer, especially those who suffer for being believers for Christ, POWs, widows, orphans, prisoners, those who may become martyrs, and will minister to them as the Lord leads and provides.
Psalm 146 - He always does what he says, he defends the wronged,he feeds the hungry. God frees prisoners, he gives sight to the blind, he lifts up the fallen. God loves good people, protects strangers, takes the side of orphans and widows, but makes short work of the wicked.
There are great revivals, renewals, and awakenings coming to America and to the nations. We recognize that we must have a blueprint from the Lord, and a foundation in the Lord – as a body of believers and as individuals so we are prepared and equipped to minister to those who are yet to come into the Kingdom at the appointed time.
Therefore we will focus on what we are called to do, and not on what everyone else is doing
